My name is Christine (she/her). I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I hold a Master of Science in Counselling and was a school counsellor in California prior to relocating to British Columbia.I live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and see clients both in-person and online.

My professional experiences have been dedicated to walking alongside individuals, providing support as they navigate their unique paths of personal and professional growth. Before joining The Wellness Collective, I had the privilege of being a counselor in academic settings, where I closely connected with both children and adults, learning from their diverse experiences. My approach centres around you, focusing on empathy, understanding, and a genuine commitment to guiding you through your unique experiences and transitions.

  • I had my own positive counselling experiences as a child and adolescent and I loved working with people, but I never put those two things together when thinking about a career. That was until I landed myself an internship in a counselling office during my last year of university. I saw the profound impact empathetic, compassionate and respectful therapeutic relationships could have on someone and I wanted to be able to provide that for more people in the future. I earned my Masters in Counselling and began working in a school counselling office and loved it! I acknowledge what an honour and privilege it is to do this work and I am grateful for each one of my clients who choose to share their journey with me.

I consider it a profound privilege to support people in expressing and understanding their stories, emotions and experiences.
