Kristen Hamilton-Block (She/Her)
MA, RCC-ACS
Psychotherapist & Clinical Supervisor
Location: Kelowna & Online
Hi, I’m Kristen Hamilton-Block (she/her). I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Approved Clinical Supervisor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. For the past 15 years, I’ve supported individuals and families in a variety of settings—including hospitals, non-profits, and private practice. I currently live in Lake Country, BC, and offer in-person sessions in Kelowna, as well as virtual sessions to clients across British Columbia.
My approach is all about you. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck. Therapy with me is a collaborative process—one where you can begin to understand how past wounds and relationships have shaped your sense of self and your connection to others.
Together, we’ll work to challenge the stories that no longer serve you, so you can feel more empowered, confident, and grounded in who you are. I believe that healing happens in relationship—and that meaningful, lasting change is possible.
If you're ready to process, grow, and make intentional shifts in your life, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

A lot of people think being a therapist is just listening to people’s problems all day. To me, therapy is so much more than this. I have known that therapy was to be my path since I was 14 years old and found myself sitting on my own therapist’s couch. I struggled with depression and chronic pain, which made it incredibly difficult for me to go to school, focus and stay motivated. My therapist provided me a safe space to explore healthy coping strategies whilst validating my pain and modelling self-compassion. As time progressed, my mood improved and we started exploring other areas that are so important to teenage and young adult development, like the importance of having healthy boundaries, healthy communication and healthy attachments. It became very clear to me that, like my own therapist, I wanted to spend my own time and energy helping others find their way and overcome barriers that impede them from a more meaningful life. This is why I do what I do and I love it!
